Investors will be able to obtain loans on favorable terms for the construction and reconstruction of hotels. The maximum loan term will be 15 years, and the rate will not exceed 3-5% per annum.
“Until 2024, about 19 billion rubles will be allocated from the federal budget for these purposes. Thanks to the national project, we will be able to ensure a significant increase in the hotel base in the constituent entities of the country within 3-7 years, ”said Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
The head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova added that in order to implement this measure, Rosturizm will subsidize banks in the amount of the refinancing rate.
The program for concessional lending to investors for the construction and reconstruction of hotels was approved in February. Entrepreneurs who do not have salary arrears and mandatory payments will be able to become its participants. The borrowed funds should be used for the construction or reconstruction of buildings to accommodate hotels with an area of at least 5 thousand square meters. m or with a fund of 120 rooms.
